About the role
We are looking for an experienced InSprint Tester / Quality Assurance Engineer to join an Agile Scrum Team delivering solutions for the insurance sector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality throughout the sprint lifecycle by validating business requirements, executing test activities, identifying defects early, and working closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Design, execute, and document test cases within Agile sprints.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Validate delivered functionality against business and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects until resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support user story acceptance and Definition of Done validation.
- Identify quality risks and recommend mitigation actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Exploratory Testing, and Agile Testing.
- Experience designing test cases and managing defects.
- Experience working with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Xray, or similar.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Fluent German (C1/C2).
- Good English communication skills (B2+).
