Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Partner with affluent clients to identify financial goals, analyze financial landscapes, and develop recommendations.
  • Communicate complex financial solutions using strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ensure client retention through meaningful long-term relationships and tailored financial solutions.
  • Leverage solutions including tax, estate planning, insurance, and more to provide comprehensive client offerings.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory policies and company standards of client care.
  • Act as a fiduciary, placing client interests and outcomes first.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 7-10 years of related experience including Independent Advisor, Registered Representative, Securities Portfolio Manager, Financial Planner, or Certified Public Accountant roles.

Certifications/Licenses

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required.
  • Acceptable alternatives include ChFC, PFS, CFA, or CIC certifications.
  • Series 65 license required unless exempt in applicable states.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced knowledge of financial products and financial planning concepts.
  • Ability to present investment, finance, and tax planning solutions effectively.

The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. Employees are regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
