About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to design, implement, and mature the enterprise IAM ecosystem. The role involves driving secure, scalable, and user-friendly identity solutions while collaborating closely with Security, Infrastructure, Application, and Engineering teams.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on leading IAM initiatives from architecture and strategy through implementation and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade IAM solutions across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments.
  • Architect and deliver federation strategies using SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM.
  • Lead integration and optimization of IAM platforms including SailPoint, Okta, PingOne, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Drive Identity Lifecycle Management (LCM), RBAC, PAM, and Just-In-Time access initiatives.
  • Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and mentorship as the primary IAM SME.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec, Compliance, and Engineering teams to meet security and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously improve IAM architecture, processes, and operational capabilities.
  • Support cloud IAM strategies across AWS, GCP, and related platforms.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and identity-related incident response.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on Identity and Access Management experience.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust, Least Privilege, ABAC, Adaptive Authentication, Continuous Access Evaluation, and ITDR.
  • Expertise with SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SCIM, and federation protocols.
  • Experience architecting and implementing federation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with SailPoint, Okta, PingOne, and Microsoft identity solutions.
  • Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Cloud IAM services, Terraform, and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives from design through implementation.
