Position Summary: System Engineers are needed to support a customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Essential Job Functions
- Business system implementation risk management, assessment, and research, including leading Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups to reduce risks in current and future increments.
- Perform risk assessments for major system acquisitions related to the integration and deployment of modernized business systems.
- Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems compatible with defined system architectures including DoDAF and SOA.
- Contribute to systems engineering documentation including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
- Assist with development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
- Coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews requiring cross-discipline coordination.
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams to design new capabilities based on development and operational considerations.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university required.
- Twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required.
- Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts required.
- Business system interoperability experience required.
- DoDAF architecture experience required.

Draft and analyze IT requirements for OCS systems including ACS, IPCA modernization, STEP enhancements, web-based ATS, and Consular One. Provide paralegal support in areas including family law. Develop user training materials for ATS, Complaint Registry, and other systems. Produce Hague certificates for immigration and emigration cases. Support stakeholder outreach and presentations. Provide Tier II and Tier III call center support during crises and emergencies. Enter and triage information in databases including Excel, ACS, CTF, and other CA systems. Provide after-hours emergency support as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship required. High School Diploma required. Three (3) years of experience in an office environment required. Secret security clearance required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).
