How You'll Contribute to the Team
The Superintendent I, Multifamily supports on-site construction activities by partnering with Senior Superintendents, General Superintendents, and Project Management. This role assists in ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with standards, contract documents, and applicable codes.
The Superintendent I serves as an emerging field leader supporting subcontractor coordination, daily planning, inspections, and safety enforcement while developing independent jobsite leadership capability.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support Senior and General Superintendents in day-to-day field execution and subcontractor coordination.
- Assist with short-interval planning, daily work sequencing, and logistics coordination.
- Promote and enforce Zero Tolerance Safety Standards on site.
- Monitor work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and documentation for assigned scopes of work.
- Communicate schedule, safety, and quality concerns to field leadership in a timely manner.
- Support punch list completion, closeout documentation, and turnover activities.
- Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
- 3+ years of construction field experience preferred; commercial or multi-family experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and schedule fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a field environment.
- Valid driver's license required; ability to travel as business needs require.

Benefits
The salary range for this position is estimated to be $75,000 to $95,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and work location. This position is eligible for a discretionary target incentive of up to 10% of the base salary.
