We're an FP&A platform designed to streamline and automate data consolidation, reporting, and planning while allowing finance teams to continue using their own Excel spreadsheets and financial models. Datarails integrates with popular accounting software, ERPs, and CRMs to build a single source of truth, reduce risk, make informed decisions, and ensure stakeholders have reliable data at their fingertips.

As a Customer Success Manager, you will advise finance professionals from middle management through the C-suite, customize their Datarails platform, and train them on product updates.

This position is 100% remote-based anywhere in the United States. No sponsorship or relocation assistance is available.

What You'll Do

  • Understand current client situations, helping simplify models and existing data.
  • Create detailed business analyses outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for customers by advising on budgeting, forecasting, planning and monitoring, financial modeling, standard reporting, and more.
  • Manage, interpret, and validate all data produced by customers, maintaining focus on improving customer care quality.
  • Provide recommendations for process changes to help optimize procedures and maximize outcomes.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with customers, gather requirements, and provide financial reporting support.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer success, consulting, or similar customer-facing role, with a finance or accounting background.
  • Deep knowledge and solid experience in advanced Excel functions including formulas, Vlookup, Pivot Table, Power Query, and complex models.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to engage professionally with CFOs, VPs, Directors of Finance, and customers from leading US companies.
  • Comfortable with upselling and renewal conversations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities Employee Experience & Support - Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day employee questions across North America. - Conduct employee 1:1 check-ins to gather feedback and improve the overall employee experience. - Coordinate life event recognition, employee appreciation, holiday gifts, and engagement initiatives. - Support employee engagement programs. - Escalate employee relations, policy, and compliance matters as appropriate. HR Operations - Coordinate onboarding for new hires in HiBob and Rippling. - Maintain employee records and ensure HR system accuracy and data integrity. - Execute promotions, organizational changes, employee lifecycle updates, and system maintenance. - Support annual merit review administration. - Maintain HR documentation, workflows, and operational processes.
