This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in Linux environments, builds reliable automation, and helps deploy and support secure platforms across DC-MLS, HPC, and other mission-driven programs.

Responsibilities

  • Build, improve, and maintain DevOps automation processes that support DC-MLS Enterprise deployments and initial site stand-up activities.
  • Develop and manage Linux-based deployment, configuration, and operational workflows across secure environments.
  • Create and maintain automation and scripting solutions to streamline provisioning, support repeatable deployments, and improve platform reliability.
  • Use configuration management and version control tools to manage changes, support releases, and strengthen deployment consistency.
  • Partner with enterprise and core teams to support DC-MLS implementations across HPC and other contract environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Security+ certification
  • 5+ years of combined experience in Linux, scripting or software development, and configuration management
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Perl, Korn, Bourne/Bash, Ansible, and other shell scripting tools
  • Experience with revision control and source management tools, including CVS, SVN, Git, GitLab, and GitLab CI
  • Experience developing and managing DevOps deployment automation processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting secure enterprise deployments in mission-focused environments
  • Experience with Linux-based DevOps workflows across HPC or multi-level secure systems
