Note: The client is NOT looking for specialists experienced only in programming industrial robots via high-level GUIs. What We Offer 🎁 Top Compensation: 26k-32k PLN gross + 75% Tax-Deductible Costs (AKUP). Equity: Significant equity package – you become a co-owner of the company. Real Impact: You will see your code powering robots in production environments, solving problems no one has solved before. Best Team: Work with and learn from engineers who built Google Warsaw, unicorn startups (Climate Corp), and tested rocket engines. Freedom & Responsibility: Flexible working hours and a hybrid model (partly remote work possible). The company trusts its engineers to do their job effectively. 🏢 Summary: Senior AI Agent Engineer role focused on building and deploying production-grade AI agents for supply chain operations using frontier LLMs, orchestration systems, and enterprise integrations. The position involves designing agent infrastructure, evaluation frameworks, and scalable deployment patterns while working closely with customers and internal teams. Candidates will contribute across backend systems, APIs, data models, and customer-facing workflows in a fast-moving environment. 🗂️ Requirements: 5+ years of software engineering experience, 1+ year shipping LLM or agent-based features into production, Strong Python or TypeScript/Node.js skills, Experience designing APIs and distributed systems, Experience with PostgreSQL data models, Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, Experience with evaluation frameworks and orchestration patterns, Experience integrating frontier model APIs, Ability to work in fast-paced ambiguous environments, Strong written and verbal communication 📃 Skills: Python, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, LLMs, APIs, MCP, WMS, TMS, ERP 🏢 Description: Traba is the AI operating layer for the industrial supply chain. We started in workforce—temp staffing, the biggest operational pain point for the manufacturing and logistics customers we serve—and used it to embed ourselves inside their daily operations and create a far better customer experience through technology. Now those same customers are pulling us beyond staffing into the broader operational workflows that run their facilities. That foundation gave us proprietary data from millions of shifts and deep enterprise relationships. By connecting to the systems running across every facility and activating the workers already on our platform to execute against them, we are building applied AI that drives real productivity gains and transforms how the global supply chain operates at scale. You'll build the AI agents themselves—the harnesses, evals, orchestration, and model strategy the rest of Traba's product runs on. We're seeking an entrepreneurial Senior AI Agent Engineer to join as a founding member of the Agents team and build the next layer of Traba's product—an agentic platform that synthesizes the data flowing through our marketplace and operates autonomously inside our customers' supply chain workflows. You’ll embed deeply in our customers' operations, design and ship production agent harnesses on top of frontier models, and turn what you learn in the field into durable product. You will partner closely with the CTO, product, and operators to take 0-to-1 ideas to scaled deployments. About You Builder with an AI operator's instinct: - Shipped real products on top of LLMs - Designed agent harnesses, structured tools, written evals, and tuned prompts against production traces - Focus on capability, reliability, and unit economics Domain-immersed: - Enjoy learning industry vocabulary, edge cases, and operational workflows - Build solutions shaped by customer operations High-agency in ambiguity: - Scope, build, evaluate, and ship solutions independently - Comfortable working from incomplete requirements Sweat both ends of the stack: - Work across prompt iteration, eval design, backend services, and customer-facing UI - Care about regression testing and debuggable traces You Will - Embed with customers and operators to understand supply chain workflows - Design and ship agents that automate operational work - Build production agent systems on frontier LLMs using tool use, sub-agents, retrieval, structured outputs, MCP servers, and orchestration - Own evaluation processes including datasets, rubrics, graders, experiments, and measurable improvements - Architect data, services, and APIs integrating internal systems with customer WMS, TMS, and ERP environments - Codify repeatable deployment patterns for customer rollouts You Have - 5+ years of software engineering experience - 1+ year shipping LLM- or agent-based features into production - Strong Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js skills - Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, and PostgreSQL data models - Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, orchestration patterns, and frontier model APIs - Track record in fast, ambiguous environments - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits - Start-up equity - Competitive salary - 100% paid health, dental, and vision coverage - Dinner provided via DoorDash - Free DashPass and stocked kitchen for NY employees - Commuter benefit - Gympass benefit - One Medical Membership - HSA via Optum - Talkspace - HealthAdvocate - Teledoc Health Salary Range - $200,000 - $240,000 Equal Opportunity Employer Traba evaluates all applicants without discrimination based on legally protected characteristics and encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
