The Opportunity
Your car and your home are your most important assets, yet the experience of owning them is fragmented, complicated, and expensive. The company is building an app to manage insurance, repairs, financing, maintenance, and more in one place. After scaling its car insurance marketplace, the next chapter is expanding into home, motorcycle, and other physical assets through new partnerships with insurance carriers, product providers, and distribution partners.
This expansion relies on landing large, complex partners that require creative deal structuring and strong judgment. You will own the end-to-end partnerships motion for new product lines, including building the pipeline, structuring deals, and ensuring successful partner onboarding and growth.
Why You Will (Or Won't) Like Working Here
- No playbook: For newer verticals such as home and motorcycle, the partnership model is still being defined. You will scope what to build rather than execute a proven formula.
- Complex deals & long cycles: You will work on complex deal structures that can take months to close, and many may not close at all.
- Heavily cross-functional: You will collaborate with product, engineering, data science, legal, finance, and executive leadership on every deal.
What You'll Own
- Build and run the partnerships pipeline for new product lines, from initial outreach through signed agreement and successful onboarding.
- Lead insurance carrier and partner conversations independently, qualifying fit, understanding partner needs, structuring value propositions, and driving the process to close.
- Design creative deal structures for partners who do not fit a standard path.
- Own partner success post-close, ensuring partners ramp effectively and become long-term relationships.
- Contribute to vertical strategy by informing sequencing and structure of new product bets based on partner feedback.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategy consulting with a track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Experience building 0-to-1 initiatives such as launching a new partnership category or entering a new market.
- Background combining at least two of: consulting or structured problem-solving, BD or sales execution, early-stage startup operating experience.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior external stakeholders and navigate large partner organizations independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex deal structures clearly to executive audiences.
Benefits
- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage.
- Paid time off and paid parental leave.
- 401(K) plan with employer matching.
- Wellness benefits.
- Base salary with potential equity grants as part of total compensation.

🏢 Summary: Lead and scale a customer-facing Agentic AI platform, owning prompt architecture, LLM integrations, and emerging AI investments such as voicebots and computer use. Drive consolidation of distributed prompt systems into a unified platform while guiding technical prioritization and OpenAI partnership strategy. Work hands-on with internal AI infrastructure and cross-functional teams to shape the future AI architecture. 🗂️ Requirements: 3+ years in a technical role (e.g. forward deployed engineering, technical product management), Experience building and scaling AI systems in production, Strong understanding of LLMs and generative AI systems, Ability to design and discuss API architecture and system design, Experience consolidating or standardizing technical platforms, Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, Experience working in fast-paced startup environments, Ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences 📃 Skills: LLMs, SQL, APIs, Prompting, GitHub, Replit, CRM, Propelix, Botly, Voicebot, OpenAI 🏢 Description: Why we’re hiring this role: Your car and your home are your most important assets, yet the experience of owning one is fragmented, complicated, and expensive. We are building the first app to manage the entire journey including buy/sell, insurance, maintenance, and repairs. We launched car insurance in 2019 and became one of the top three brokers in the country, in part by being early adopters of generative AI. Before off-the-shelf platforms existed, we built our own infrastructure to automate sales and service conversations. Today, that system handles a meaningful share of customer interactions end-to-end, and the underlying technology is entirely homegrown. That head start created leverage but also complexity. Prompts powering the customer-facing chatbot, vehicle photo validation, and back-office automation live across six separate locations with no single source of truth or unified platform. This role owns consolidating and defining the future AI roadmap, including voicebot, computer use, and consumer AI applications. How you’ll make an impact: Your scope covers maintaining the current AI platform while driving architectural decisions for its future state. In the first few months, you will learn the prompt engineering workflow by writing and updating prompts, understanding how various tech stacks (e.g. Propelix, Botly, CRM, GitHub, and Replit) interact, and identifying bottlenecks. After that, you will own the platform strategy: - Prompt consolidation: Define and execute the migration strategy from six locations to a unified platform, aligning engineering, data, and operations teams. - Chatbot prioritization: Own the technical prioritization queue and coordinate execution without adding unnecessary process. - Emerging technology decisions: Track advancements in voicebot and computer use, determine investment timing, own the OpenAI relationship, and manage presence in the ChatGPT store. Who you are: - Technologist: Deeply engaged with AI advancements and experienced in building custom workflows. - Systems Thinker: Comfortable discussing API design and system architecture and translating complex ideas. - Experimenter: Continuously exploring new AI capabilities. - Data-Driven: Familiar with SQL and comfortable analyzing data to validate hypotheses. - Pragmatic: Able to navigate technical tradeoffs and implement AI platform standards. Ideal experience: - 3+ years in a technical role such as forward deployed engineering or technical product management at a fast-paced startup. - Passion for AI systems including modern LLMs. - Track record of turning complex strategic ideas into scalable, production-grade products. Compensation and Benefits: The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the listed pay range and is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Compensation may include equity grants. Benefits include health, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, paid parental leave, 401(K) plan with employer matching, and wellness benefits. Equity opportunities may be part of the total rewards package. 🏢 Summary: Senior Product Designer (12-month maternity cover with potential for permanent role) focused on driving activation, conversion, and retention through experimentation and lifecycle initiatives. The role owns end-to-end design from discovery to shipping, running A/B tests, in-product experiments, and data-driven optimizations tied to revenue metrics. Strong emphasis on business impact, product analytics, AI-assisted design, and rapid experimentation. 🗂️ Requirements: Proven end-to-end product design experience (discovery to shipping), Strong portfolio demonstrating business impact and metrics-driven design, Ability to design and run A/B tests and in-product experiments, Experience with product analytics and experimentation tools, Mastery of Figma, Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design or prototyping tools, Ability to define and measure success using activation and conversion metrics, Experience writing product copy, Experience working on digital products (SaaS or B2B preferred) 📃 Skills: Figma, A/B testing, Experimentation, Analytics, SEO, PAYDA, AI, Cursor, Claude, Codex, Flow, Prototyping, SaaS, B2B 🏢 Description: About us At Text, we're building a new category around customer communication, powered by real-time data. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Lifecycle Growth team - someone who gets more excited by business outcomes than pixel-perfect screens, and who wants to design where every experiment, banner, and flow is tied to a real revenue or activation metric. This is initially a maternity cover (~12 months) with a strong path to a permanent role for the right person — in an organization our size, we always find a place for great specialists. This isn't a role for someone who wants to be handed perfectly-scoped tickets. We work like adults running our own startup inside Text: high autonomy, weekly cadence, async-first, and zero hand-holding. About the team Lifecycle Growth Team sits inside the broader Activation org and works across two connected areas: lifecycle (customer communication around product updates, churn prevention, win-backs) and R&D and experimentation (SEO and PAYDA tests, activation banners and nudges, reshaping core product surfaces). We share KPIs with Product Activation: Trial > QL > Subscriber. You'll work most closely with your own team day-to-day, but because Activation touches every product team, you'll collaborate broadly across product and design. What you'll own Taking end-to-end ownership of design work - from business discovery and problem definition, through design, testing, and shipping. Designing for business outcomes : activation, conversion, retention. You'll define what success looks like in numbers. Running live experiments - activation banners, in-product nudges, A/B tests, and lifecycle communications that move Trial > QL > Subscriber. Collaborating with designers across Activation and other product teams, contributing to design critique and shared thinking. Occasional experiments that go beyond Activation - and affect acquisition, retention and monetization Writing copy - at Text, designers write the first version of product copy. Working AI-natively - using tools like Cursor to build interactive mockups and accelerate your work. Who you are We hire for mindset over years on a CV . If you have fewer years of experience and the bullets below describe you, we want to talk. If you have 10 years and you don't recognize yourself here, this won't be a fit. You take ownership. Every designer at Text is expected to act like the design lead for everything they ship. You think business-first. You can read a metric, understand why it matters, and design toward moving it. You move fast. You'd rather ship a rough test this week and learn than ship a polished screen next quarter and hope. You're comfortable with ambiguity. Our team is post-reorg, our product is newer than LiveChat with smaller data volumes, and our roadmap shifts. You're AI-native or eager to be. You use AI tools as a multiplier, not a curiosity. You communicate clearly and directly. You give and receive feedback without ego. Deal-breaker: if you optimize for how something looks more than how it works — this isn't your team. We're building a product that makes people more productive. You may be a great fit if you have A portfolio that shows business thinking — why something was built, what changed because of it, and how you made the trade-offs. Comfort with the full design process : discovery, prototyping, shipping, and measuring impact. Mastery of Figma ; familiarity with experimentation tools and product analytics. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design or prototyping tools (Claude Code/ Codex /Flow/Claude Design) — or a clear willingness to adopt them fast. Nice to have Experience working on a product (vs. agency or marketing-only). Background in SaaS, B2B, or product-led growth . Experience writing product copy. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design or prototyping tools (Cursor, v0, etc.). Why you'll love working here Real ownership from day one. You won't be waiting for permission. A team of people who care. Strong characters, high standards, low ego. Direct line to leadership. No layers of middle management between your ideas and decisions. Cross-product exposure. Because Activation works with every product team, you'll see more of how Text actually works in 12 months than most designers see in 3 years. A path to permanent. This role starts as maternity cover, but for the right person, we'll make space. Ability to deliver incredible impact. Our tools serve more than 1 billion customers a month, across 150+ countries Unlimited access to all the cutting edge AI tools 🔥 We're not promising an easy ride. We're promising real impact, real autonomy, and a team that will push you to do the best work of your career — if you're the kind of person who wants that. How we work We’re a hybrid team – remote when it makes sense, onsite when it matters most. Once per quarter, your whole team spends 5 working days together at our Wrocław office – a time for focused execution, unblocking work, and driving key outcomes. Our office is open year-round – drop by anytime. Benefits We don’t want you to worry about all the basic benefits - like a Multisport card, private health care, or a home office equipment budget. What we really want you to feel and what we believe in is that the real benefits come from the culture we’ve built. With a hybrid work model, unlimited paid days off and sick days policy, an environment focused on outcomes instead of worked hours, and people dedicated to their work, you’ll find a workplace where you can thrive. And here’s the icing on the cake: you’ll have the opportunity to work with the makers behind all Text products: LiveChat , ChatBot , HelpDesk , KnowledgeBase , OpenWidget .
