Description

Andersen is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript) in the EU for a project modernizing a digital price comparison platform. The role focuses on ensuring quality, performance, scalability, and reliability of a system that aggregates and presents utility service rates from multiple providers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
Execute and maintain manual and automated test cases.
Perform API testing (REST) using Postman and validate backend integrations.
Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and QA team members.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and prepare detailed bug reports.
Conduct log analysis and troubleshooting to support defect investigation.
Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, plans, reports).
Ensure high standards of test coverage, reliability, and maintainability.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support QA processes across the SDLC.

Must-haves

1+ years of experience in QA automation and strong manual testing background.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Solid experience in API testing (REST) with Postman.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
Experience or exposure to log analysis tools such as Elastic Stack.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Upper-Intermediate English level or higher.

Nice to haves

Jenkins CI/CD pipeline experience.
Salesforce testing knowledge.
Elastic Stack log troubleshooting knowledge.
