Join the Industrial Environmental team as a Project Manager II and contribute to creating innovative solutions that drive positive change in communities. In this role, you will apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments and related fields. The Project Manager II oversees project deliverables and completion for small-to-mid-sized projects within a single discipline or defined area, low-risk multidisciplinary projects, or in support of a larger project management team. This position is involved in the full project life cycle and ensures timely completion of projects in accordance with established scope, schedule, and budget.

The role leads the successful delivery of projects that provide purposeful, high-quality solutions to solve engineering and design needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assemble project teams and assign responsibilities aligned with project objectives.
  • Create and communicate project scope, schedule, and budget with technical teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets and cost adherence.
  • Secure appropriate resources for all project stages.
  • Develop and implement a quality management plan.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and additional costs.
  • Conduct routine project meetings with clients and teams.
  • Document deliverables and maintain project records, including design plans and correspondence.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support future work opportunities.
  • Coordinate contract negotiations and understand billing requirements.
  • Mentor staff on project management best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation requirements, regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, construction, planning, or related field.
  • Minimum six years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in engineering and design terminology, contract requirements, and project financials.
  • Completion of Project Management and Quality Management training within 12–18 months.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
