Seneca Holdings is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist in Williamsville, NY. This team member will report to the Payroll Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete onboarding of new hires into payroll systems
  • Review timesheets for accuracy
  • Process any/all payroll changes required to process biweekly payrolls accurately and timely

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of ADP WFN and payroll processing experience
  • Knowledge of FLSA and other federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Multistate payroll experience a must
  • ERP system experience
  • Wage garnishment and tax levy experience
  • Union or prevailing wage payroll experience
  • Ability to work with confidential material/information
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently or as a team member
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong customer service abilities

Desired Skills:

  • MS SharePoint experience
  • Multistate payroll experience
  • Experience posting labor in different ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint knowledge a plus)
  • Government contracting environment experience a plus
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment and discretion
  • Ability to work independently

Salary Range: $63,000—$75,000 USD
