We are seeking a highly skilled Nutanix Resident Engineer with a deep expertise in system administration and virtualization technologies. Main Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assess current usage of Nutanix products and drive adoption.
- Present options to customers based on Nutanix best practices and architecture.
- Administer and support customer Nutanix environments effectively.
- Manage installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of Nutanix core products.
- Oversee migration from 3-tier systems to Nutanix infrastructure.
- Handle cross hypervisor migrations such as ESXi to AHV.
- Monitor alerts, troubleshoot issues, and maintain performance and availability.
- Conduct capacity planning and management reporting.
- Guide junior team members in day-to-day Nutanix administration tasks.
- Collaborate with Nutanix support and third-party vendors for advanced troubleshooting.
- Automate administrative tasks using Nutanix products and features.
- Facilitate customer training and enablement sessions.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in system administration and virtualization technologies.
