We are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our growing Platform Engineering team.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments. You will play a key role in shaping our cloud architecture, improving reliability, and driving automation across the organization.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform
Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters (GKE) with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and security
Build and evolve observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces, alerting)
Manage and optimize GCP native services and cost efficiency
Automate infrastructure and operational processes to improve resilience and reduce manual effort
Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards (modules, state management, CI/CD integration)
Collaborate with development teams on architecture, performance, and deployment strategies
Participate in incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:
8+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production environments

Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
