As a Senior GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial services industry, driving cloud transformation and building highly resilient, scalable GCP infrastructure. Your expertise will empower the company to deliver innovative applications and services with maximum performance and security.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Build and manage the GCP foundation platform to facilitate application deployments across the organization.
  • Engineer solutions on GCP using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and integrate cloud services such as IAM, networking, logging, containers.
  • Manage SDN in GCP, ensuring optimal network configuration including VPCs and XPN.
  • Consume and support centrally provided hardened OS (Linux and Windows), ensuring security and compliance.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and security standards to meet operational risk policies.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and implement patches through automation tools.
  • Develop operational documentation and assist in fault diagnosis and support for applications teams.
  • Contribute to change management processes, impact assessments, and out-of-hours support on a rotational basis.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience with cloud service providers, especially GCP, in infrastructure build and configuration.
  • Strong Linux administration and scripting skills, preferably with Red Hat.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools and automation scripting (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Programming skills in Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, or Scala.
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles, Infrastructure as Code, and network configuration (VPC, XPN, subnets, NAT, routing).
  • Knowledge of security and compliance tools such as IAM, OAuth, and cloud monitoring/auditing solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (fluent).

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • GCP Certifications (preferably professional level).
  • Linux Certification or Windows Server Certification.
  • Experience working within highly regulated industries like financial services.

  • Fluent English – both written and spoken.
