About the role
We’re looking for a People Manager and Delivery Lead to head our Cloud Operations team in Gdańsk, Poland. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for managing our hybrid cloud data center infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. You’ll manage a talented team of CloudOps Engineers and collaborate closely with IT Delivery Leads, Architects, Specialists, vendors, and your Head of Product to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-efficient services that create tangible business value for Arla.

You will lead and inspire your team to deliver high-quality cloud operations that ensure stability, security, and performance across Arla’s infrastructure. With a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration, you’ll help shape our cloud strategy and operational excellence.
You will
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing CloudOps team, fostering accountability, growth, and teamwork.
Own the delivery and performance of Cloud Operations, ensuring availability, security, and cost efficiency across our cloud based environment.
Drive improvement initiatives / projects using agile methodologies (Scrum, DevOps, Kanban) and ensure strong vendor performance through effective governance.
Oversee key operational processes such as OS patching, vulnerability management, disaster recovery, incident handling, capacity planning, and compliance.
Build strong partnerships across IT and business units, driving alignment, transparency, and proactive risk management.

You have
Proven experience leading teams in IT Infrastructure or Cloud Operations, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and core operational areas such as OS patching, DR, networking, load balancing, and security.
Solid stakeholder and vendor management experience, including contract governance, SLA management, and service improvement.
The ability to translate business needs into technical outcomes within an agile, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills in English, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, and familiarity with ITIL (certifications are a plus).
