We are looking for a Senior Integrations Engineer (m/f/n) to join our client’s team.

Context:

Orchestration platform for autonomous last-mile logistics, connecting retailers, real-estate owners, AV fleets, and delivery partners. The role focuses on owning partner integrations end-to-end, from API contract design and technical discovery to go-live and production operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver partner integrations.

  • Own API contracts, SDKs, documentation and integration patterns. 

  • Build resilient event-driven systems on GCP using container orchestration, serverless compute, managed messaging, and managed data layers.

  • Own technical partner relationships during kickoff, build, launch, incident handling, and post-launch support. 

  • Define integration standards for reliability, observability, idempotency, retries, replay, pagination, versioning, and error handling.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience shipping production backend systems. 

  • 2+ years of experience owning external partner integrations end-to-end. 

  • Strong backend engineering experience with Go, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript. 

  • Strong API design skills: REST, OpenAPI, webhooks, pagination, versioning, and error contracts.

  • Production experience with event-driven architecture, including retries, poison messages, out-of-order delivery, and feedback loops. 

  • Strong GCP experience, including GKE or Kubernetes, serverless compute, managed messaging, managed databases, IAM, and Terraform. 

  • Experience leading customer-facing technical conversations with partner engineering teams. 

  • Ability to manage technical kickoff, API negotiation, go-live support, and live incident de-escalation. 

  • Practical AI-native engineering workflow experience, including AI-supported code production, review, testing, delivery, and validation. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
