For our client, a global financial institution, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to lead the development of cloud-native solutions within an international environment. You will oversee a team of cloud engineers, shape the cloud adoption strategy, and drive best‑in‑class engineering practices across the organization.
Your tasks
Manage the development and maintenance of standardized, reusable cloud patterns and solutions
Guide and support a team of skilled cloud engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence, teamwork, and ongoing development
Collaborate with development teams to support cloud migrations and build cloud‑native applications on AWS and hybrid environments
Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for developers transitioning to the public cloud
Define and prioritize product features aligned with business and engineering objectives
Implement and advocate for architectural best practices, ensuring high availability, resiliency, scalability, and security
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of professional experience with strong expertise in public cloud technologies
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Technical Lead within cloud-native or platform engineering environments
Solid knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerization
Experience building secure, scalable, and highly available systems in enterprise environments, including hybrid cloud models
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment
Openness to hybrid work from the Warsaw office
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
