Role Overview
For our Client we are looking for a qualified partner for Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) position to support the design, implementation, and operation of modern infrastructure and deployment environments. The role focuses on Linux systems, virtualization, containerization, and automation, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable platforms for software delivery. You will work on modern infrastructure and automation topics and collaborate in a skilled and international team. You will belong to large-scale, enterprise-grade environments with continuous learning and development opportunities. The position is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based environments
Manage and optimize virtual environments and container platforms (Podman)
Ensure system security and compliance, including SELinux configuration and troubleshooting
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
Automate operational and deployment tasks using Python and Bash
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability and efficiency
Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization
Required Skills & Experience
Strong expertise in Linux system administration
Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly KVM
Experience with containerization tools (Podman preferred)
Solid understanding of Linux security concepts, especially SELinux
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or similar)
Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash
