We are currently seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Software Engineer to join a large-scale, global banking transformation programme focused on cloud-native platforms, automation, and distributed systems. The role sits within a high-performing engineering team responsible for building, operating, and evolving mission-critical services in a regulated environment. You will work in a cross-functional, international setup with engineers, architects, and platform specialists, contributing to the design and operation of scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD ecosystems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide end-to-end support across the software delivery and run lifecycle, including development and DevOps activities
• Design, build, and maintain Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, and SonarQube
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (e.g. Shell)
• Manage and support cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), networking, compute, storage, and databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• Ensure service reliability through monitoring, logging, incident management, and adherence to availability and recovery objectives
• Support release management processes and drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to deliver scalable and resilient platforms
• Provide post go-live support for Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) / blockchain-based systems where applicable
Requirements:
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GKE and core cloud services
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, and SonarQube
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Shell scripting)
• Experience supporting and operating production-grade, live services in cloud environments
