We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join an international project delivered for a large organization within the financial services sector. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining a global payments platform that enables fast and secure fund transfers across multiple channels, including supplier payments, salaries, and tax transactions. This role focuses on building modern user interfaces and front-end services that support payment processing systems (e.g. SEPA, SWIFT) as well as internal tools used across the EMEA region. You will work in an Agile, DevOps-driven environment, contributing to scalable and high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using React, TypeScript, and Java
Build UI services and micro frontends supporting payment processing systems
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and microservices
Improve system usability through intuitive interfaces and user-focused design
Contribute to reducing operational complexity by building interactive tools and dashboards
Support automation initiatives, including test automation and CI/CD improvements
Enhance system efficiency and Straight-Through-Processing (STP) capabilities
Maintain and modernize legacy UI components (e.g. JSP-based solutions)
Work closely with stakeholders and distributed teams across different regions
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with React 18, TypeScript 5, Bootstrap 5
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Experience working with SQL and databases
Java8+ essential, Java17+ preferable
Familiarity with legacy frontend technologies (e.g. JSP)
Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
English proficiency at B2+ level
