Our client provides a cloud-based platform that helps businesses manage their spending.
You will play a crucial role in developing solutions for the Enterprise platform. You will be developing applications that provide self-service and increased efficiency to a diverse group of internal customers across Cloud Operations, Engineering, Customer Success & Support, and Customer Value Management. When you are successful, you will significantly accelerate the team's ability to serve customers better.
This role requires working hours with overlap till 7-8 PM CET.
Requirements
Has 4+ years of hands-on Platform System engineering experience using Ruby.
Has 3+ years of experience in engineering role, working with a diverse & distributed team located across the globe.
Has experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Github Actions, ArgoCdEKS, AKS, ECS)
Infra As Code Exposure with Multi Cloud Deployments.
Has experience building & running modern full-stack cloud applications using public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) reliably and at scale.
Has effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated problems to all levels of the organization & customers.
Will be confident in their ability to own and deliver a roadmap tied to business priorities
Has a passion for excellence, is a natural problem solver, and a critical thinker. You should enjoy digging deep to understand issues and like solving hard problems
Has a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
Nice to have
Knowledge of modern infrastructure management systems (Chef, Ansible, Terraform).
Expertise in building Platform-as-a-Service.
Responsibilities
Own, build, and run a suite of impactful platforms built on modern cloud technologies that provide a suite of functionality delivering APIs, integrations, security, messaging, streaming, identity, performance, reliability & containers.
Build a multi-region and multi-cloud platform that allows scalable, secure service delivery across hundreds of services on AWS & Azure clouds in a regulated environment.
Act as a primary lead partnering to provide technical guidance, support, and direction for several platform engineering teams. Support NAT Gateways Technology.
Support the effort to containerize a suite of applications to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
Develop and drive long-term strategies and roadmaps aligning with business priorities in partnership with the dev and product management team.
Use data-driven insights across the cloud estate to inform and drive new feature development to optimize usage and reduce cost.
Help us in improving the reliability and Scalability of the Platform.
Takes full ownership of products and has a track record of sustainably delivering high-quality features & managing technical debt.
