Your role
The Cloud Platform Architect is a permanent role in support of CIS delivery tools responsible for the detailed technical design of real-time monitoring, alerting, automation, Service Management and Reporting of the enterprise infrastructure (Network, Servers, Storage, Databases, etc.) and applications for the CIS managed services offering. This role is positioned in the Deploy & Run organization and works closely with Design & Build teams adopting, applying standard designs in secure/sovereign client environments, and supporting platform run.
Your tasks
Define and design Azure cloud architecture for large-scale data and analytics platforms
Architect end-to-end infrastructure landscape and automation pipelines on Azure
Guide and mentor engineering teams in cloud and data best practices
Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization of cloud solutions
Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions
Drive cloud modernization and strategy initiatives
Your profile
Extensive experience as a Cloud Architect or senior engineer on Microsoft Azure.
Deep expertise of Azure platform (architecture, security, performance optimization, governance)
Strong scripting / coding / automation skills – especially in Terraform
Knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and security concepts
Good communication and leadership skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience in development, visualizing and using high-level models
Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills; approachable, pragmatic and able to achieve buy-in
8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, architecture, administration, or security
Nice to Have
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Knowledge of DevOps and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
