Test Automation Engineer (Payments) – Regular & Senior
Location: Gdańsk, Poland (hybrid – approx. 3 days/week in the office)

About the Role
We are looking for Test Automation Engineers (Regular and Senior) to join a large-scale, ongoing project in the financial sector. You will be working on end-to-end test automation for payment systems, covering complex flows across multiple interconnected applications.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to business-critical systems while working in a mature, international team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated tests for payment solutions
Perform test analysis, test case design, and implementation
Execute both automated and manual tests, analyzing results
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and issues
Build and improve test automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework
Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders
Continuously improve test coverage, stability, and performance
Requirements (Regular & Senior)
Must-have:
Strong knowledge of Python
Hands-on experience with Robot Framework
Experience working with Jenkins (CI/CD)

Solid experience in:
Test analysis and design
Test implementation and execution
Root cause analysis
Test automation framework development
Experience with modern development tools (e.g., Git, AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot)
Very good communication skills in English
Additional for Senior Level:
Proven experience designing scalable automation strategies
Strong background in complex, distributed systems
Ability to lead initiatives and mentor other team members
Deep understanding of test architecture and best practices
Nice to Have:
Experience within payments systems / financial domain
Knowledge aligned with ISTQB Foundation Level
Exposure to AI tools in testing
