We are currently looking for an experienced AWS Python Developer to join a strategic cloud engineering initiative within the banking sector.
The role focuses on supporting enterprise-scale cloud adoption and building secure, scalable and automated AWS-based solutions aligned with a Cloud First strategy. You will work within international engineering teams responsible for developing and supporting modern cloud platforms across a broad AWS ecosystem.
This position combines hands-on Python development, AWS engineering, DevOps automation and cloud security, with a strong focus on operational resilience, scalability and secure infrastructure delivery.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop and support cloud-native solutions within AWS environments
Collaborate with application teams to deploy and optimize applications on AWS platforms
Develop automation solutions and operational tooling using Python
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform where required
Develop and enhance security controls aligned with cloud security best practices
Support compliance dashboard improvements and operational monitoring initiatives
Participate in major incident investigations and provide rotational 24/7 support coverage
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git and Ansible
Contribute to automation, scalability and operational excellence initiatives across cloud environments
Collaborate with international engineering and infrastructure teams in Agile delivery environments

Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Python development and automation
Practical experience working with AWS services in enterprise-scale environments
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling including Jenkins, Git and Ansible
Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions such as Terraform
Good understanding of DevOps practices and Agile delivery methodologies
