We are currently looking for an experienced AWS Python Developer to join a strategic cloud engineering initiative within the banking sector.

The role focuses on supporting enterprise-scale cloud adoption and building secure, scalable and automated AWS-based solutions aligned with a Cloud First strategy. You will work within international engineering teams responsible for developing and supporting modern cloud platforms across a broad AWS ecosystem.

This position combines hands-on Python development, AWS engineering, DevOps automation and cloud security, with a strong focus on operational resilience, scalability and secure infrastructure delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop and support cloud-native solutions within AWS environments

  • Collaborate with application teams to deploy and optimize applications on AWS platforms

  • Develop automation solutions and operational tooling using Python

  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform where required

  • Develop and enhance security controls aligned with cloud security best practices

  • Support compliance dashboard improvements and operational monitoring initiatives

  • Participate in major incident investigations and provide rotational 24/7 support coverage

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git and Ansible

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python development and automation

  • Practical experience working with AWS services in enterprise-scale environments

  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling including Jenkins, Git and Ansible

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions such as Terraform

  • Good understanding of DevOps practices and Agile delivery methodologies

The team operates in a DevSecOps model, collaborating across multiple global locations and delivering frequent production releases in a highly controlled, high-availability environment.
