THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with strong experience in cards and business process testing to support complex banking and payments transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in validating end-to-end card lifecycle processes and ensuring the quality and accuracy of card platform functionality across multiple business scenarios.
You will work closely with business analysts, SMEs, developers, and programme stakeholders to execute functional and process testing activities, identify defects, and support successful programme delivery.
Fluency in Polish is mandatory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and execute manual test scenarios covering card lifecycle processes including issuance, authorization, postings, repayments, and settlements
Validate business processes related to fees, interest calculations, installment plans, and MC/ERP settlement activities
Document test execution results, maintain testing evidence, and ensure traceability across programme deliverables
Log, track, and retest defects while working closely with development and business teams to support issue resolution
Support SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing activities across banking and payments workstreams
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES TO GET THE JOB DONE:
Experience performing manual testing within banking, cards, or payments environments
Strong understanding of card business processes and transaction lifecycles
Experience creating and executing detailed test cases and documenting testing evidence
Familiarity with defect management and test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar platforms
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Knowledge of Mastercard or Visa card processing flows
Experience testing authorization, clearing, settlement, or reconciliation processes
Exposure to agile delivery methodologies
Understanding of payment messaging standards or ERP integrations
ISTQB certification or equivalent testing qualification
IMPORTANT
Fluent Polish (spoken and written) is mandatory
Good command of English for documentation and collaboration
Availability to work on-site, with partial remote work - 3 days per week from the office in Warsaw
