About the Role
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our engineering teams as we continue to scale both our platform and our organisation. You’ll combine engineering leadership with technical decision-making, helping your team deliver high-quality software while creating an environment where engineers can grow, collaborate and do their best work.
Working closely with Product Managers, Architects and other Engineering Managers, you’ll help shape technical direction, influence architecture and ensure we’re building scalable, reliable products that power global travel.
Our engineering teams build cloud-native backend services using technologies including Java, Spring Boot, AWS, MySQL, DynamoDB and microservices, while continuously evolving our platform to support future growth.
AI-enhanced engineering
We use Claude AI coding assistants as part of our everyday engineering workflow to increase productivity and reduce repetitive work. Our engineers use AI to explore technical solutions, accelerate implementation, debug complex issues, generate and improve tests, create documentation and support code reviews.
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll help your team adopt AI responsibly and effectively—using it to improve developer productivity while maintaining high engineering standards, sound technical judgement and strong ownership.

Partner with Product Managers and Architects to define technical solutions and execution plans.

Foster engineering best practices across development, testing, deployment and operational excellence.
Remove delivery blockers, manage technical risks and help your team make informed engineering decisions.
Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Contribute to hiring and growing our engineering organisation in Warsaw.
What we’re looking for
Leadership
Proven experience leading and developing software engineering teams.
Strong coaching and mentoring skills.

Technical background
Strong software engineering background, ideally with Java or similar backend technologies.
Experience building cloud-native SaaS applications.

Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering quality and delivery practices.
Nice to have
Experience in travel technology or airline distribution.
Knowledge of IATA standards such as NDC, One Order or ARM.
Experience leading distributed or international engineering teams.
