As a Manual and API Testing Specialist – Cybersecurity Project, you will be working for our client, a leader in the banking and FinTech industry. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to securing digital financial services, driving innovation and safeguarding millions of users worldwide. Your main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and define testing requests, including clear acceptance criteria.
  • Lead and coordinate manual testing phases for software releases, ensuring delivery quality.
  • Develop and maintain manual test artifacts, metrics, and environments to support ongoing testing efforts.
  • Create test scenarios for automation and performance testing to optimize testing processes.
  • Participate in defining test strategies and plans for specific application components.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.
  • Identify and triage application log exceptions, managing bugs and test cases within cloud environments.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Manual Tester within Agile software development teams.
  • Proven expertise in web application testing and REST API testing, including third-party integrations.
  • Sound knowledge of Agile testing artifacts such as epics, stories, and tasks.
  • Familiarity with testing tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and QTest/Tricentis/Zephyr.
  • Strong understanding of API protocols (REST, HTTP).
  • Experience in working with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Excellent command of English (fluent).
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops independently.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (SAST, DAST, MAST) and security testing processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrating a continuous learning mindset.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • ISTQB certification.
  • Experience with performance testing and UML diagrams.
  • Knowledge of process flow diagramming and process improvement in complex systems.
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) practices.

Language required for the role:

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
