Junior Java/Kotlin Developer

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Java/Kotlin Developer, eager to learn and work with Salesforce, to join our team. In this role, you’ll be trained and mentored while contributing to a major telecommunications project for a global technology leader, working with modern technologies like Java, Kotlin, Spring, and Google Cloud Platform. You’ll collaborate closely with a diverse team in a dynamic, Agile environment, focusing on microservices, API integrations, and SaaS products such as Salesforce and Zuora.

This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Gdansk, Krakow, Warsaw or Wroclaw. While standard Polish business hours apply, occasional flexibility for evening meetings (e.g., around 18:00) to coordinate with US teams is required.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and grow under the guidance of senior engineers developing a strong understanding of the project’s domain architecture and codebase

  • Assist in developing testing and maintain microservices using Java and Kotlin

  • Onboard to Salesforce especially Salesforce CPQ for product management tasks

  • Write clean maintainable and well-tested code for assigned features and bug fixes

  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team in all Agile ceremonies

  • Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with mentor support

  • Contribute to team documentation and knowledge sharing

  • Proactively tackle a steep learning curve and adapt quickly to complex large-scale systems and cloud technologies

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Java and foundational knowledge of Kotlin

  • Basic experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Working knowledge of SQL and Git

  • Eagerness to learn and work with Salesforce and other SaaS products

  • Strong desire to learn grow and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Willingness to occasionally adjust working hours for collaboration with international teams

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both spoken and written for daily collaboration
