Customers include Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Colgate-Palmolive, Mondelez, Samsung, and Kellogg's. Backed by SoftBank, Insight Partners, and Madrona. Headquartered in Mountain View with teams across the US, India, Canada, and the UK. Pre-IPO.
The Problem:
We have thousands of enterprise users, proven product-market fit across digital shelf analytics, retail media, and sales operations, and the Fortune 100 running on our platform. That part works. Now we are building something new: autonomous AI agents that are already in customer hands and scaling fast. This is a 0-to-1 build inside a company that has the distribution, the data, and the customers to make it real.
The AI Labs team operates as a startup within the company. It needs its own engineering leader. Someone who can recruit a world-class team in Mountain View, set the technical direction for agentic AI in commerce, and ship at a pace that matches the opportunity. We have engineering teams across the US, India, Canada, and the UK. Mountain View is the center of gravity for AI leadership.
This role reports directly to the Founders. We ship with Claude, GPT-4, and open-source models in production. Our engineers already write the majority of code with AI. Some things are great. Some things need to be rebuilt. The next leader will know the difference.
What You'll Do:
-
Build the Future of Commerce AI
- Architect and evolve the platform for the agentic era. The technical foundation needs to support agents that operate autonomously across content, media, and sales. You will decide what gets built, how it gets built, and what gets thrown away.
- Push the frontier on AI-assisted development. We already lead most companies in AI code contribution. Claude Code, Cursor, and the next generation of agentic dev workflows should be standard across the org. As a startup, we should be ahead of everyone else on this.
- Ship AI agents into production with speed and reliability. Our agents are already in Fortune 100 workflows and scaling fast. Engineering needs to deliver new capabilities on a weekly cadence.
- Be the technical face of the company externally. Our AI Brand positioning depends on engineering leaders who can speak credibly about what we are building. Conference talks, blog posts, recruiting events.
Build the Team
- Recruit and retain world-class engineering talent, starting with Mountain View. You will be measured on the quality of people you bring in and the quality of people you develop.
- Build a strong engineering leadership bench. We need senior leaders who can independently own large surface areas and represent engineering with authority across the company.
- Create an environment where the best engineers want to stay, grow, and recruit their friends. Every hire should raise the average.
Own Engineering Execution
- Own product quality, infrastructure efficiency, and engineering velocity. You set the metrics, you hit them.
- Drive continuous improvement in margins and cost structure. We have already made dramatic improvements in infra costs and product reliability. You will own the next chapter.
What You'll Bring:
This is not a caretaker role. We need a builder. Here is what matters:
- You have built and scaled engineering teams. You have taken a team from good to great. You know how to hire senior talent, develop middle managers, and create a culture where A-players attract more A-players. Ideally you have done this at a pre-IPO company scaling through a similar inflection point.
- You are technical and hands-on. You can go deep on architecture discussions, review technical designs, and earn the respect of senior engineers. You do not need to write code every day, but you need to be able to tell when code is good and when it is not.
- You are AI-native. You personally use AI development tools. You have opinions about LLM orchestration, agent architectures, and how AI changes the software development lifecycle. You are excited about a world where AI writes most of the code and engineers focus on architecture, judgment, and customer impact.
- You operate with urgency. Startup pace. Weekly shipping cadence. You do not tolerate multi-month planning cycles for things that should take days. You bias for action and course-correct fast.
- You are a talent magnet. The best engineers you have worked with want to work with you again. You have a network of strong technical leaders you can bring in. You know the difference between hiring for pedigree and hiring for signal.
- You want to be in the room. This is an onsite role in Mountain View. You will work closely with the Founders, product, and customer success. Our best decisions happen face-to-face.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base: Competitive with top-tier Silicon Valley companies. Commensurate with experience.
Equity: Significant pre-IPO stock options. This is a leadership seat and the equity reflects that. We are at a stage where senior hires still get meaningful ownership.
Benefits: Full medical, dental, vision. 401(k). Unlimited PTO.
Location: Mountain View, CA. Onsite. 15 minutes from Stanford campus.
Why Join Now:
- The window is now. The company has product-market fit, revenue, and customers. The AI Labs team is being built right now. In 12 months this team will be set. The founding members will define the culture, the architecture, and the trajectory. This is that moment.
- Real AI, not AI theater. Most companies are bolting AI onto legacy products and calling it innovation. We are rebuilding the entire platform around autonomous agents. Our agents are already in production, already in customer workflows, already making decisions. If you want to lead a team doing real AI, this is it.
- Fortune 100 scale. Your decisions will directly affect how 2,200+ brands run their ecommerce. The Fortune 100 uses our platform to manage billions of dollars in commerce. This is not a sandbox.
Equity upside. Pre-IPO. $200M+ raised from tier-one investors. The economics of joining at this stage, in this role, are compelling.

We’re the team behind Zeropark, and now we’re creating a brand‑new platform designed for speed, experimentation, and AI‑powered innovation. If you love turning “this might work” into “here’s a working prototype we can test today,” you’ll fit right in. This is not traditional software engineering. This is product engineering at the frontier—rapid experiments, smart MVPs, real user data, and decisions driven by learning velocity. What you’ll work on As a Senior Product Engineer, you’ll operate across the full stack to quickly validate ideas, kill weak ones, and scale the winners. You shape the product, challenge assumptions, and drive outcomes—not just outputs. What we expect in your first 60 days Ship your first working prototype or POC within two weeks Own at least one experiment end‑to‑end—from hypothesis to build to “kill or scale” decision Build or improve an internal tool that materially speeds up the team Form your own opinion on our stack and where AI tooling provides the biggest leverage What you bring Must‑haves Full‑stack capability—frontend, API, and database; nothing blocks you Fluency with AI coding tools and a portfolio that proves it Product thinking: you ask “should we build this?” before “how do I build it?” Comfort with ambiguity and rapid scoping Experience building MVPs/POCs that influenced real decisions Strong signals Side projects, apps, tools, automations you’ve built for fun or impact Ad‑tech, e‑commerce, marketplace, or distributed systems experience JVM (Java, Kotlin) and AWS background Comfort with metrics, experiment design, and pulling your own numbers A track record of killing your own experiments when data proved they shouldn’t ship Show us what you’ve built. That’s what matters. We work with AWS, Kotlin, Java, Spring, Kafka, TypeScript, Angular, Vue, Python, Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions, and DataDog—but we care more about your ability to build than the tools you already know. AI tools are not optional here—they’re standard equipment. Why you'll love working here There are many reasons to come on board our team of talented professionals, but here are just a few… We are collaborative, fair, consciously inclusive, and flexible We trust, value, and support our people to make the difference We believe that diversity of thought and experience provides the platform for innovation and creativity We invest in the development of our people to drive our ambitions forward We offer a range of benefits (including your choice of tech) and a competitive package We offer a great work environment in an internationally successful enterprise in the online services industry At Team Internet, we believe in equal opportunities for everyone. Key Responsibilities AI-powered digital banking: The chat-based member experience, covering account management, transactions, service resolution, and more AI-powered voice banking: The same core capabilities delivered through phone-based conversational AI, with a focus on automation quality and member experience AI-powered conversion: End-to-end workflows that guide members through applications and complex financial actions across chat and voice, turning intent into completionProactive intelligence: How the platform surfaces the right information, reminders, insights, and opportunities to members at the right time across all channels Pillar leadership: Set product direction for the member-facing pillar. Mentor PMs, have input on hiring, and raise the quality bar Required Qualifications 8+ years in product management, with 3+ years managing multiple products simultaneously (not sequentially) Experience shipping "AI-powered products with a high quality bar" where AI was core to the experience, not a bolt-on feature Strong UX sensibility member-facing products demand high craft quality Track record optimizing and growing existing B2B SaaS products, not just 0-to-1 building Customer-facing: comfortable presenting to and working with US-based financial institution executives Experience as a senior IC leading a product line setting direction for and mentoring 2-3+ PMs through influence (not people management) AI-native workflow: You build with AI daily — analyzing user data, drafting specs, building dashboards, automating workflows. The specific tools don't matter (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, Replit, custom scripts — all count); what matters is that you've moved beyond prompting into building. This is how you manage the breadth of a multi-product portfolio without drowning in it. Preferred Skills Voice AI or conversational AI product experience Financial services or financial institution industry knowledge Built AI-powered products at scale (millions of end users) Experience with multi-channel product experiences (voice + chat + digital) Built custom AI agents, MCP integrations, or automated AI workflows for product management tasks Who you are? You're the operator who walks into a multi-product portfolio and within weeks knows exactly which product is healthy, which is underperforming, and which metric to move first. You don't just manage products, you manage a *system* of products that share infrastructure, serve overlapping users, and compound in value when they work together. You've been the person that enterprise customers trust. You can walk into a room of financial institution executives, understand their pain in the first ten minutes, and translate it into a product improvement by the end of the week. You balance customer empathy with business discipline: you won't build something just because a customer asks, but you'll never dismiss a pain point without investigation. You build your own tools and workflows. You use AI to track portfolio health, analyze usage patterns at scale, prototype product improvements, and automate the parts of product management that don't require human judgment — building agents, creating automated workflows, writing scripts, whatever makes the work faster. You manage a multi-product portfolio at a pace that would be impossible without AI, and that's the point. Our Values Act Like You're the Founder: Own the outcome from start to finish No Fear. Speak Your Mind: Candor moves us forward Pursuit of Excellence: Raise the bar, every time AI-First Mindset: Think automation, intelligence, and scale-first in every solution Don't Assume. Seek to Understand: Start with questions, not conclusions How We Work? Every PM builds with AI daily. Our standard toolkit is Cursor, MCP integrations, and custom AI agents — and we onboard every new hire on these tools in their first week. We hold a high quality bar and move at startup speed. Flat organization. No empire-building. Compensation Base Salary is expected to be between $250,000 - $320,000, plus 10%bonus and stock options. You'll build production Next.js applications that handle complex state, real-time AI streaming, and real enterprise functionality, growing into the harder architectural calls over time. We obsess over frontend quality because we're building the trust layer for AI itself: when your interfaces handle edge cases gracefully, give clear feedback during AI processing, and stay fast under load, you directly enable users to trust AI-powered answers and make critical business decisions. In our environment, AI isn't just what we build, it's how we build. You'll work alongside engineers who use AI coding assistants daily, build custom MCP servers, and experiment with new AI tooling to move faster. This is a role for someone in a high-growth chapter of their career, who wants to do the best work of their life, learn fast, and win as part of a team going all-in on a hard mission. What You Will Own Build and ship production Next.js applications with complex state and real-time AI interactions Build interfaces for AI-powered features: streaming LLM responses, semantic search, interactive knowledge graphs, and agentic builders Contribute to the component library and design system, keeping things reusable, accessible, and consistent Deliver enterprise-grade functionality: localization, accessibility, cross-browser support, and security best practices Help own what you ship after launch: monitor performance, optimize bundle sizes, and keep an eye on Core Web Vitals Use AI tools daily to move faster, and help improve internal frontend workflows Keep the bar high on code quality and testing through thoughtful code review What Strong Performance Looks Like You turn vague product problems into shipped, well-reasoned interfaces that users trust Complex AI behavior feels legible and controllable to users because of how you built the UI Your components are reusable, accessible, and perform well under real load You bring momentum. Work moves because you are on it What We Are Looking For Around 3 to 5 years of frontend engineering experience, with strong React and modern TypeScript Production Next.js experience: you've built and shipped SSR applications and understand the trade-offs between SSR, SSG, and CSR, with the appetite to go deeper Solid state management, with exposure to harder scenarios (real-time updates, optimistic UI, multi-tenant data) and the drive to grow there Experience building or contributing to AI/LLM interfaces: streaming responses, chat UIs, semantic search, or similar A feel for frontend performance: you care about Core Web Vitals and know the basics of improving them Exposure to enterprise application concerns: localization, accessibility, and security best practices A security-conscious approach to engineering: you handle sensitive data carefully and think about the security implications of what you ship Strong craft and product instinct: you spot UX issues and propose solutions, and you're not satisfied with "good enough" AI-native working style. You already use AI coding assistants daily and are eager to push the boundaries of AI-assisted development Clear communication. You articulate design decisions and technical trade-offs clearly, verbally and in writing Strong Plus Experience with React Flow, Highcharts, or other complex data-visualization libraries Hands-on experience with vector search UIs, RAG interfaces, or semantic search Familiarity with MCP, DSPy, or other cutting-edge AI frameworks, and building agentic AI interfaces Understanding of Node.js/Python backend fundamentals: you can read backend code and follow API design discussions Contributed to design systems or open-source component libraries A track record of growing fast and taking on more than your title strictly required How We Evaluate Fit We care more about craft, ownership, and the ability to make complex AI feel trustworthy than a perfect match to every library on paper. If you are the kind of engineer who can take a messy, complex enterprise problem and turn it into an interface people trust, we want to talk.
