We are looking for an experienced Senior / Lead QA Engineer to join an international project within the insurance domain. The role requires strong quality assurance leadership, deep understanding of insurance systems, and fluency in French to work closely with French-speaking stakeholders and clients.
Main responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate QA activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business and quality goals
Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios
Oversee and support manual and/or automated testing processes
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria
Analyze and review system specifications and business requirements, with a strong focus on insurance processes
Identify, document, track, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution
Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices
Participate in release planning, risk assessment, and quality sign-off
Communicate effectively with French-speaking clients and stakeholders

Your responsibilities: - Define and evolve testing strategies in an Agile environment. - Design, develop, and maintain both manual and automated test scenarios. - Increase automated test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts. - Automate software release and quality assurance processes. - Prepare and maintain environments for system and integration testing. - Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software deliveries. - Ensure the stability, reliability, and accuracy of business-critical applications and calculations. - Contribute to the development and standardization of CI/CD and testing practices. Requirements: - Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Test Automation Engineer. - Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing throughout the software development lifecycle. - Experience creating and maintaining automated tests for web applications and APIs. - Practical knowledge of tools and frameworks such as: - Playwright - Postman - JMeter - JUnit or NUnit - Experience working with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g. Azure DevOps and Git). - Ability to understand complex systems and their underlying business logic. - Experience working in Agile development environments. Reporting defects identified during testing and collaborating with developers for resolution and closure. Participating in test planning activities , including estimation and task prioritization.
