Key Responsibilities Design, build, and support scalable services, microservices, and applications (both backend and frontend) using Java (11/17/21) and modern web technologies such as React Contribute to the modernization of legacy systems, including migration from mainframe and IBM WebSphere to API-driven and microservices-based architectures Help reduce operational costs and system complexity through modern engineering practices Improve testing efficiency by implementing and expanding automated testing frameworks Enhance Straight-Through Processing (STP) capabilities across services and platforms Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with Java (11 or higher) ; experience with Java 17+ is highly preferred Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments Proficiency with Git for version control Strong command of Unix/Linux systems and CLI tools Solid experience with databases and SQL (Oracle preferred) Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Familiarity with HTTP/web technologies and JavaScript Nice to Have Experience with Reactjs for frontend development Background working in a DevOps-oriented delivery team Knowledge of application monitoring and observability tools Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
