Description

You will join SAP transformation projects to design, develop, and support maintainable SAP solutions combining ABAP and Fiori expertise with business-process knowledge, clean-core principles, integration, security, and performance. You will own complex developments from requirements analysis through deployment and operational handover.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into technical designs, estimates, and implementation plans

• Develop and enhance ABAP/ABAP Objects and Fiori solutions (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, APIs, data models, background processing)

• Build SAP S/4HANA solutions using CDS, code-pushdown concepts, and HANA-aware development

• Implement integrations through IDoc, RFC, BAPI, OData, REST, or SOAP

• Prepare technical specifications, unit-test evidence, deployment instructions, and support documentation for project and audit requirements

• Conduct code reviews and optimize performance (database access, processing, memory usage, background jobs) using SAP quality/performance tools

• Apply clean-core principles, secure coding, authorization checks, data-protection controls, automated testing, and quality gates

• Manage transports/releases, cutover, hypercare, and operational handover; resolve production incidents with root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions

• Support upgrades and S/4HANA transformations and remediate custom code; communicate progress, risks, and dependencies

• Mentor developers and contribute to technical governance and reusable assets

Requirements

• At least 5 years of SAP ABAP and Fiori development experience with ownership of complex enterprise deliverables

• Advanced skills in ABAP, ABAP Objects, Open SQL, debugging, enhancements, and performance analysis

• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience including CDS data models, code pushdown, HANA-aware development, and integration technologies

• Knowledge of development lifecycle controls, testing, transports, release management, production support, and technical documentation

• Understanding of SAP business processes, clean-core principles, secure development, and software engineering standards

• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; structured, independent, customer-oriented approach

• Ability to collaborate with international, multidisciplinary teams; English (B2–C1)

• Relevant degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business informatics, or equivalent education and practical experience
