Description

Design, develop, and maintain the architecture of a production-grade iOS application. Build native iOS functionality with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, using async/reactive patterns and secure data persistence. Own quality and stability through testing, performance profiling, crash monitoring, and CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain production iOS architecture with clear module boundaries and managed dependencies
• Develop and enhance native iOS apps with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
• Implement async/await, Actors, and Combine-based reactive patterns
• Build data persistence and security using Core Data, SwiftData, and Keychain Services
• Support the full SDLC: PRD preparation, technical specs, testing, feature-flag releases, and event tracking
• Create and maintain automated unit and UI tests with XCTest and XCUITest
• Profile and optimize performance using Instruments (Time Profiler, Allocations, Leaks, Core Animation)
• Monitor crashes, investigate issues, and prevent regressions (e.g., Crashlytics)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, or equivalent tools
• Integrate native mobile features with web components using WKWebView, Universal Links, Deep Linking, and Handoff
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Managers to shape requirements, prioritize the backlog, and propose effective native iOS solutions
• Work with backend teams on API contracts, authentication mechanisms, and event schemas
• Support production incident resolution and participate in post-incident reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years professional iOS development with App Store releases
• 4+ years hands-on Swift and SwiftUI and/or UIKit
• 3+ years iOS test automation with XCTest and XCUITest
• Swift 5.x proficiency including Swift Concurrency, async/await, Actors, and Combine
• Production experience with SwiftUI and UIKit and their rendering lifecycles
• Architectural experience with Clean Architecture and/or MVVM and/or MVI; modular design and separation of concerns
• Dependency management experience with Swift Package Manager and/or CocoaPods
• Knowledge of dependency inversion and writing maintainable, testable code
• Hands-on with Core Data, SwiftData, and Keychain Services
• Knowledge of URLSession, certificate pinning, and structured error handling
• Experience profiling and optimizing with Instruments
• CI/CD experience with Fastlane and/or Xcode Cloud (including automated code signing)
• Ability to work with Objective-C for legacy apps and third-party SDK integrations
• Very good English and Polish
