Description

Lead the design, implementation, and management of Azure network infrastructure and services, with emphasis on security, architecture, and reliable integration with applications. You will configure core Azure networking services, ensure compliance across Azure components, and troubleshoot and optimize network performance. Availability is required until 7:00 PM UK time.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure network architectures (virtual networks, subnets, network security groups)

• Configure and manage Azure network services (Azure Load Balancer, Azure Application Gateway, Azure VPN Gateway)

• Design and implement network security (access controls, threat protection, encryption)

• Ensure network compliance across Azure infrastructure components

• Collaborate with development teams for application integration with Azure networking services

• Troubleshoot network performance issues and resolve them in a timely manner

• Optimize network configuration and architecture to improve performance

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Azure networking (virtual networks, network security groups, network services)

• 1+ years of relevant leadership experience

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

• Expertise in network security measures (firewalls, access controls, encryption)

• Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience migrating on-premises networks to Azure

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Instances)

• Experience automating network tasks using Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform
