Claims is an AI-native scientific data infrastructure startup building structured, queryable representations of scientific claims and their supporting evidence. The company’s mission is to enable AI agents to “digest science” by converting research literature into claim–evidence records as structured data, supporting trust calibration for automated research. Founded by professors of economics and a senior engineer, Claims operates as a decentralized network on Bittensor (Subnet 111), where an open miner competition processes scientific papers and a validator checks records before they enter the dataset—creating a continuously improving standard against which network outputs are scored. Claims is a fully remote, small team with a flat hierarchy, focused on moving fast toward clearly defined goals, tackling difficult problems, and shipping production-quality software that runs on a live mainnet launched in August 2026.

You’ll work across Python APIs and background workflows, web dashboards, and integrations with AI model providers while improving reliability and debugging production issues. The role also involves deployment automation, testing, and making the codebase easier to maintain.
