Description

You will develop high-quality automotive embedded software for smart actuation and controller systems used in applications such as thermal management for battery electric vehicles. The role includes software-level requirements and architecture analysis, plus collaboration with system departments and international development teams. You will also support test automation and continuous integration strategies, using process models such as ASPICE.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for mechatronic components and modules
• Work on controller software for automotive smart actuation (e.g., networked precision valves for thermal management)
• Create quality automotive software solutions using e.g. ASPICE
• Perform requirements and software architecture analysis and align with system departments
• Support test automation and continuous integration with testing and tool teams
• Collaborate with international global development teams

Requirements

• Engineering degree (e.g., software/electronics) or further technical degree with proven experience
• Experience with C programming for automotive embedded applications close to hardware
• Experience with software tests and corresponding tools
• ASPICE experience is an advantage
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage
