Description

You will develop and maintain React-based portfolio reporting features (saved report packages, report generation, and search), modernize existing applications by migrating to Vite and an enterprise design system, and help move legacy ExtJS screens to React. You will integrate and troubleshoot GraphQL and REST API communication between the frontend and backend microservices, diagnose API/performance issues, and support UI build deployments to QA along with regression testing and production releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React portfolio reporting features (saved reports, generation, search)

• Modernize apps by migrating to Vite and an enterprise design system

• Migrate legacy ExtJS UI to React

• Build, integrate, and troubleshoot GraphQL/REST APIs between frontend and microservices

• Diagnose slow/failing API queries, incorrect payloads, and frontend performance/memory issues

• Deploy UI builds to QA, manage release branches, support regression testing and production releases

• Collaborate with backend, QA, release management, and product owners

• Contribute to Agile, Test Driven Development, and DevOps practices

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on frontend development experience (preferably in banking/financial services)

• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript (mandatory)

• Hands-on GraphQL and REST API integration experience with debugging (mandatory)

• Experience with modern frontend build tools, particularly Vite (mandatory)

• Strong Git branching/version control and release workflow knowledge (mandatory)

• Experience migrating legacy frontend apps such as ExtJS to React (preferred)

• Experience with enterprise UI/design systems (preferred)

• Familiarity with data-heavy UI frameworks such as AG Grid (preferred)

• Troubleshoot frontend performance issues and memory leaks

• Familiarity with cloud-based dev environments and containerized deployments

• Understanding of Agile, Test Driven Development, and DevOps

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration with senior stakeholders and distributed teams
