Description

Own end-to-end delivery of production features that connect a React/TypeScript UI with FastAPI backend services and a SQL/BigQuery data layer on Google Cloud Platform. Build responsive, high-performance front ends, design contract-first REST APIs, manage relational schemas and migrations, and deploy securely within enterprise network boundaries using GCP services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex technical and data requirements into clean software.

Responsibilities

• Own features from inception through testing and deployment to production on GCP

• Develop responsive, performant front-end interfaces with TypeScript and React

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python and FastAPI following contract-first principles

• Manage relational schemas, version-controlled data models, and migrations using SQL

• Deliver services securely within enterprise network boundaries on GCP (Cloud Run, IAM, Secret Manager, SSO/OAuth)

• Partner with engineers, scientists, and product stakeholders to translate technical/data requirements into software

Requirements

• 4+ years of fullstack development experience

• Deep expertise in Python (FastAPI) and strong proficiency in TypeScript/React

• Contract-first REST design experience (OpenAPI, Pydantic), including API versioning and input/output validation

• Proven experience with relational data & SQL: schema design, versioned data modeling, and migration tooling (PostgreSQL or similar)

• GCP enterprise deployment experience (Cloud Run, IAM, Secret Manager) within secure corporate network perimeters

• SSO/OAuth implementation experience and consumption of governed upstream data products via APIs
