Description

You will ensure financial steering for cloud services by controlling costs and consumption and maintaining appropriate budget tracking within the organization. The role focuses on producing and analyzing cloud consumption/cost/performance KPIs, running budget/forecast cycles, identifying variances with corrective actions, and partnering with business and technical teams to optimize cloud spending. You will also create automated reporting and analytics using Power Query and improve management dashboards while contributing to FinOps practice improvements.

Responsibilities

• Pilot and manage costs and consumption of cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Ensure financial monitoring of cloud service catalogs
• Produce and analyze indicators of consumption, costs, and performance
• Run forecast, budget, and reforecast exercises
• Identify budget variances and propose corrective actions
• Support business and technical teams in tracking and optimizing cloud spend
• Develop and maintain reporting and analysis automations (Power Query mandatory; Dataiku strongly appreciated; Alteryx appreciated)
• Build and improve management dashboards
• Participate in setting up and improving FinOps practices

Requirements

• Confirmed experience in management accounting, corporate finance, or IT finance
• Strong knowledge of budget steering mechanisms (budget, forecast, close, cost tracking, variance analysis)
• Excellent data analysis capability and understanding of consumption metrics
• Advanced Power Query
• Cloud cost management
