Description

Join a team developing modern, data-intensive, cloud-native software for intelligent heating and hot water management in the energy and smart building industry. You will design and build event-driven services, cloud infrastructure, and user-facing applications focused on scalable analytics and real-time operational insights. Your work supports sustainable, cost-efficient, and environment-friendly heating and cooling solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop event-driven backend services and distributed systems

• Build cloud infrastructure and user-facing applications in collaboration with engineers across the stack

• Develop scalable analytics and real-time operational insight capabilities

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with C#/.NET

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and basic Azure cloud knowledge

• Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging systems

• Knowledge of distributed systems and messaging technologies, particularly Apache Kafka

• Familiarity with observability practices and tools

• Understanding of application security, compliance requirements, and audit logging in distributed systems

• English proficiency at least B2

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional engineering team

Nice to have

• React and TypeScript experience

• Implement observability using OpenTelemetry and Grafana

• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting distributed applications
