Description

You will work on end-to-end verification of a critical payments system that processes incoming and outgoing transactions, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, correctness, and detail. The role combines test management, test analysis, manual testing, and test automation, plus defect analysis and involvement during new feature design. You will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, architects, and other specialists to drive overall solution quality.

Responsibilities

  • Complex testing of the payments system’s functionality and quality
  • Test management: plan and coordinate testing, prepare test activities, evaluate results, and ensure delivery quality
  • Test analysis: analyze requirements, design test scenarios, and identify risks and problematic areas
  • Perform manual testing and support/expand automation as needed
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and help remove defects
  • Consult during design of new functionalities to uncover risks and assess testability
  • Collaborate across the team with analysts, developers, and architects

Requirements

  • Several years of experience testing complex IT systems, ideally at a senior level
  • Broad knowledge across test management, test analysis, manual testing, and automation
  • Ability to independently create test strategies, scenarios, and test cases
  • Experience leading test activities, evaluating results, and coordinating defect remediation
  • Ability to analyze functional and technical requirements and identify risks before implementation
  • Strong technical thinking and ability to communicate effectively with developers and technical specialists
  • Independence, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a responsible approach to quality
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to propose better ways of working
