Description

You will modernize legacy applications for regulatory reporting by building backend services and REST APIs in .NET 9 (Clean Architecture) and React + TypeScript microfrontends integrated via module federation. The role includes evolving MSSQL/Azure SQL schemas, provisioning Azure resources with Terraform, and supporting secure authentication and secrets management. You will also instrument services for observability, troubleshoot production issues, and improve CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop .NET 9 backend services and REST APIs using Clean Architecture

• Build and maintain React + TypeScript microfrontends with module federation

• Evolve MSSQL/Azure SQL schemas; optimize queries and implement stored procedures

• Write Terraform Infrastructure as Code to provision Azure resources across environments

• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (automation, build, releases, deployments)

• Integrate Azure AD (Entra ID) authentication; apply security best practices; manage secrets in Key Vault

• Implement observability using Application Insights and structured logging

• Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous deployment cycles

• Collaborate with Agile teams to plan, review, and refine work processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development with C#/.NET (.NET 6+/9) and ASP.NET Core

• Hands-on EF Core experience and MSSQL/Azure SQL expertise (query tuning, stored procedures)

• Practical experience with Azure services (App Service, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault, Functions)

• In-depth Terraform Infrastructure as Code knowledge (modules, multi-environment)

• Azure DevOps pipeline experience (YAML, release management)

• Experience securing REST APIs with OAuth/JWT and integrating Azure AD

• Automated testing experience with xUnit and Jest/Vitest/Playwright

• Observability knowledge (Application Insights, OpenTelemetry)

• Strong Git practices and peer code review discipline

• English proficiency for technical communication (B2+)

• Legal eligibility to work in the European Union
