Description

Senior Java Developer role for a freelance engagement focused on building and maintaining backend solutions using Java and enterprise platforms. You’ll work with ORMs, messaging/streaming (e.g., RabbitMQ), and databases while collaborating in a dev-friendly engineering setup. Salary range (Senior): 25–38 EUR/h.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Wildfly
• Work with ORMs for data access and persistence
• Integrate messaging/streaming components such as RabbitMQ
• Collaborate on systems that use Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases
• Contribute to container/VM/infrastructure-aware solutions
• Participate in CI/CD, code reviews, and other dev-friendly engineering practices

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong experience with Java and Wildfly
• Experience with ORMs
• Knowledge of messaging and streaming brokers like RabbitMQ
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases
• Understanding of containers, VMs, and infrastructure
• Experience with AI tooling for speeding up development (AWS Kiro)
• Excellent English skills
