Description

You will define, design, and manage the software architecture for Android IVI, covering all layers from applications to the bootchain. You will architect solutions for multiple Android IVI platforms, including OEM-specific customizations, and lead technical decisions across Audio, Media, and Connectivity while ensuring performance, security, and industry-standard compliance. The role also includes requirement analysis, documentation, and optimization of Android integrations for stability.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and manage Android IVI software architecture from the application layer to the bootchain

• Architect solutions for diverse Android IVI platforms with OEM-specific customizations

• Drive decisions across Audio, Media, and Connectivity subsystems

• Lead cross-functional teams delivering critical IVI features with high performance and security standards

• Conduct requirement analysis and manage documentation for IVI features

• Optimize Android integrations for improved performance and stability

• Ensure compliance with industry standards

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in software architecture

• 6+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment or related fields

• Proven expertise in Android App development, System Services, Framework, HAL, and AOSP customization

• Deep knowledge of Android versions A12/A14/A16 and testing suites (CTS/VTS)

• Strong background in Audio and Media frameworks

• Familiarity with Linux kernel, drivers, and secure boot mechanisms
