Description

Software Engineer role focused on developing automotive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications for Android. You will own parts of the end-to-end Android development lifecycle, build robust HMI system/user apps, collaborate with cross-functional automotive teams, and debug application behavior.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the full software development lifecycle for Android projects
• Create and implement robust HMI applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the automotive domain
• Support junior developers and promote best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Automotive Software Development on Android (AOSP/AAOS) using Java/Kotlin
• Total experience between 5 to 8 years
• Experience in Android HMI development for system and user apps
• Strong understanding of Android architecture and application development tools such as Android Studio and Jetpack Compose
• Competence in HMI wireframing/prototyping with Figma
• Familiarity with continuous integration using Jenkins
• Proficiency with requirement management and issue-tracking tools such as JIRA and GitLab
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
