Description

You will design and implement secure cloud architectures and controls, define cloud security capabilities (including CSPM, governance, logging/monitoring, and remediation), and run security architecture reviews with threat modeling and risk assessments. You will also evaluate cloud security technologies and collaborate across engineering, development, security operations, IAM, AppSec, and compliance teams to embed security into cloud solutions. The role includes using AI-assisted tools and workflows to improve cloud configuration and vulnerability analysis while ensuring safe usage, validation, data protection, and human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security architectures and controls for cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments
• Gather business, technical, and compliance requirements for secure cloud implementations, migrations, and security improvements
• Define and improve cloud security capabilities: IAM, network security, data protection, workload security, logging/monitoring, governance
• Build CSPM capabilities: misconfiguration detection, compliance monitoring, risk prioritization, remediation
• Perform security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for cloud infrastructure, applications, and integrations
• Create cloud security reference architectures, security standards, configuration baselines, and secure design patterns
• Evaluate CSPM/CNAPP/cloud-native security services and security automation technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud engineering, infrastructure, development, security operations, IAM, AppSec, compliance)
• Support security automation using Terraform, PowerShell, Python, REST APIs (or similar)
• Use AI-assisted tools for configuration/vulnerability analysis, risk assessment, remediation recommendations, security policy/compliance analysis, security scripting and reporting
• Identify opportunities for AI-assisted security automation with appropriate validation, data protection, and human oversight; communicate risks, decisions, and remediation plans to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years in information security focused on security architecture and design
• Experience contributing to or delivering cloud security architecture, implementation, or modernization projects
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and its native security services/controls
• Strong cloud security architecture knowledge (IAM, segmentation, encryption, key management, workload protection, logging, monitoring)
• Practical experience with CSPM, cloud security assessments, configuration reviews, and risk remediation
• Experience with cloud security tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Cloud, AWS Security Hub, Google Security Command Center, Wiz, Prisma Cloud)
• Working knowledge of adjacent security domains and architecture frameworks (Zero Trust, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and cloud security automation
• Intermediate practical experience with AI-assisted security tools/workflows (structured prompting, generating/validating scripts/queries/docs, automating repetitive workflows)
• Understanding of safe AI usage (data protection, access control, validation of AI-generated outputs) and willingness to develop AI automation skills
• Strong communication and collaboration
• Hands-on technical proficiency required
