Description

You will conduct experiments to evaluate ASR model quality and improve speech recognition accuracy through parameter tuning. You will optimize and cluster training data, analyze product usage data to identify ASR process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. The work will focus on enhancing ASR performance across multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• Run experiments to assess ASR quality and the impact of parameter tuning on recognition accuracy

• Identify, optimize, and cluster training data

• Analyze product usage data to determine improvements in ASR processes, methods, and techniques

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver results

• Stay updated on the latest field advancements and improve multilingual ASR performance

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in computer science, computational linguistics, applied mathematics, or related field

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience

• Background in speech technology, computational linguistics, machine translation, and/or NLP

• Extensive practical experience with end-to-end ASR and language modeling techniques

• Solid understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, and statistical methods

• Proficient software engineering skills, including scripting (e.g., shell scripting, Python) and experience with both Linux and Windows

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Excellent critical and creative problem-solving abilities
