Description

You will develop and implement AI governance strategies, including policies and operating models for managing AI risk and oversight. The role ensures compliance with the EU AI Act and ISO/IEC 42001, coordinates AI Act compliance programs, and supports key governance decisions for AI systems—including Human Oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Governance projects: assess organizational maturity and create strategies, policies, operating models, and roadmaps

• Design and implement AI management systems aligned with ISO/IEC 42001, including preparation for certification

• Coordinate EU AI Act compliance programs: classify AI systems, define regulatory responsibilities, prepare for conformity assessment, and monitor systems post-deployment

• Run AI Governance committees: decide risk classifications and Human Oversight approaches, and implement AI controls with technical teams

• Develop governance rules for Generative AI and Agentic AI: model/provider risk, evaluation standards, and oversight of autonomous agents

• Manage consultant teams, lead client relationships and projects, and contribute to the consulting offering

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in AI Governance, Data Governance, Technology Governance, technology risk management, or technology strategy (including experience leading projects or teams)

• Very strong knowledge of EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF and their links to GDPR/RODO and sector regulations (DORA, NIS2, REMIT)

• AIGP certification or ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor certification

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI governance policies, operating models, and AI risk/compliance processes

• Experience facilitating workshops for senior management; making and justifying decisions before boards, auditors, and regulators; experience contributing to building the consulting offering

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent English
