Description

As a Network Operations Expert in Network Operations Oversight, you will help ensure the security, stability, resilience, and continuous improvement of enterprise network services. You will lead technical investigations, take ownership of business-critical incidents, support Root Cause Analysis within Problem Management, and turn monitoring/service data into actionable insights. You will also plan and deliver network changes, oversee vulnerability management and security baselines, validate operational readiness for new/changed solutions, and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth technical investigations into complex network issues and remediation options
• Take technical ownership of business-critical incidents with engineering and vendors
• Convert service reports and monitoring trends into actionable insights and improve monitoring capabilities
• Act as technical lead for Root Cause Analysis in Problem Management
• Plan and deliver business-critical network changes with risk assessment and rollback readiness
• Oversee vulnerability management and security baseline compliance through remediation closure
• Provide technical leadership in operational and supplier reviews; ensure actions/owners/deadlines track
• Validate operational readiness of new/changed solutions across acceptance criteria and recovery/ownership
• Create and maintain technical documentation (operational procedures, configuration records, recovery instructions)
• Maintain backlogs for risks/issues/improvements and translate findings into clear governance updates

Requirements

• Valid CCNP certification (preferably CCNP Security; alternatively CCNP Enterprise)
• Extensive enterprise network operations experience across network technologies, platforms, and operational tools; solid understanding of ITIL Incident, Change, and Problem Management
• Strong operational knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center and monitoring/logging platforms (Grafana, Splunk, Syslog-based solutions, LogicMonitor)
• Expert operational and troubleshooting experience with Cisco ISE (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, authentication/authorization flows, policy enforcement, endpoint profiling, certificate-related issues)
• Deep practical expertise in Cisco ASA and enterprise VPN services (remote-access VPN, HA, certificate lifecycle, advanced troubleshooting, risk assessment for software/config changes)
• Operational experience with Cisco SD-WAN (control/data plane, controller/edge health, policies, application-aware routing, overlay connectivity, monitoring and transport/tunnel troubleshooting)
• Understanding of Cisco Software-Defined Access (fabric roles, underlay/overlay dependencies, Virtual Networks, Scalable Group Tags, ISE integration)
• Strong multicast operations knowledge (IGMP, PIM, multicast routing/forwarding, reachability/loss troubleshooting)
• Experience with CMDB accuracy and ITSM/ticketing platforms such as BMC Helix and Jira
• Hands-on advanced network diagnostics using logs, packet captures, monitoring data, configuration comparisons, and vendor diagnostic tools
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile SAFe environment
